Nanatsudo Park
Nanatsudo Park located in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture is a municipal park which opened in 1999. It features an exclusive English-style landscaped garden which was designed by a British company and uses British building materials. You can relax with large and small ponds and dams, water flowing from the dams and greenery along the water lines. You can enjoy a secret flower garden where you can see colorful roses and buildings and a pavilion which are reminiscent of ancient times. As you can feel the history from the scenery, it was used as a filming location for a movie called “Thermae Romae”.
