伝統の時間湯を体験したかったのですがなんだか法律にふれるとかいうニュースが流れていましたその影響か時間湯のは閉まってました

時間湯とは、共同湯の千代の湯と地蔵の湯で行われている草津独自の入浴方法。最近TVのニュースで見たが、この時間湯が医師法に抵触する恐れがあるとして廃止論が出ている。未だ一度も体験していないから廃止される前に体験しに草津に行かなきゃ。
草津温泉独自の温浴法

時間湯というのは、施設ではなく温浴法です。湯もみ、順序と回数が決まったかけ湯、深く熱い湯に三分間入浴を湯長の指示の元行います。千代の湯と地蔵の湯で体験できます。時間が決められているので、予め調べておくと良いです。はじててでも古参の方々が優しく教えてくれます。アトピーなどにもきっと効きそうです。個人的には、草津で入ったどの源泉より千代の湯での時間湯が感動的体験でした。
