A drive-in restaurant located a four minute walk from Doai Station. The restaurant often serves as a base for mountain climbers and visitors touring the area. The natural beauty of the surroundings and the restaurant’s retro atmosphere will help soothe the fatigue of travel. The Drive-in serves homemade dishes incorporating Mt. Tanigawa spring water and local vegetables. In addition to its signature soba and udon noodles, the Drive-in also offers party meals for groups of 15 or larger and the 240 seat restaurant can accommodate large banquets and parties. Tanigawa no Tsuki, a famous local sweet, are produced in the adjoining workshop.

10年以上前に一度来たことがありました。まだ生産工程が見学できるのには感心しました。ただ、脇の通路を通ってトイレに自由に行けたのですが、今は定員さんに断らないといけないようです。
赤城牛ステーキ御膳

観光バスツアーの昼食がここでした。昼食メニューは『赤城牛ステーキ御膳』。団体メニューのため、赤城牛も固い肉質と思っていましたが、予想外の柔らかな肉質です。値段は高めの1,800円ですが、ツアー料金に含まれているので、気にせずに食べました。なお、ここで「谷川の月」をバラでも買えるので、便利でした。

お土産購入のために立ち寄りました。ここのドライブインで売っている「谷川の月」を購入しました。カスタードクリームが美味しかったです。
