This facility, lined with various restaurants and shops, was built in Tosashimizu City, Kochi Prefecture to promote its tourism and local fish products. One can taste the fishes fostered by the kuroshio currents, the fresh fish caught the same morning or evening, prepared as sashimi or donburi dishes. You can taste and purchase the fisherman’s Ryoshi Miso made from the recipe handed down for many years by fishermen. Various workshops and activities are offered including bonito braising, whale watching, and the “Be a Fisherman” experience.

凡そ、これほど前近代的なスタイルでの昼食は他に類を見ない、見られないほどの酷さ

仕方なく〇が１つ付けてあるが、本当は✖が１０１付く位の酷さ。何度立ち寄っても変わり映えしないと云うか、前近代的と云うか、悪い意味で非日常の店舗でした。おそらく、１０周目の遍路を実施している私だが、四国８８所の昼食でここよりも落ちるのは他に類を見ない。食べ物なので個人的嗜好が入るのは当然としても、食べ物以前の段階で、ここは酷い、最低。今どきの時代に、座布団で畳にドンと座って食事するなんて信じられない...

第３９番札所延光寺から第３８番札所金剛福寺に向かう途中、ランチに迷っているときに飛び込みました。ゴールデンウィークということもあって結構待ちましたが待ったかいがありました。迷いましたがやっぱり土佐の清水ではサバかなと思いぶっかけ丼のほうをチョイス。お刺身でいただいた後にだし汁でも、一度で二度楽しめてよかったです。

食事はしませんでしたが、お土産を買おうと立ち寄りました。見事に何もない。鮮魚が並ぶはずの場所は空、土産品は日付を確認する必要。店内は薄暗く、無愛想な店員さんが一人、早々に退散しました。
