Iya Onsen Hikyonoyu

A day spa right at the entrance of Iya Gorge. Patterned on thatched roofs that blend in with their natural surroundings, the exterior is likely to leave an impression. It closes late—at 9:00 p.m.—so you can take your time in the baths, and enjoy some rest or a meal. The baths include a large open bath made with Awa cordierite, a jacuzzi, a jet spa, and even medicated baths made with locally-produced mugwort for relaxation. Outdoor baths provide enjoyable views of Iya Gorge in all four seasons.
