徳島県の鳴門公園内にあります。鳴門橋を特に間近に見ることができます。周りにお土産屋さんもあり食事、買い物も楽しめ、阿波踊りマークのトイレもありました。
フェンスが一部うずしお模様

千畳敷という名から岩場に出られるのかなと思いきや普通の展望台でしたが、大鳴門橋を下からの記念撮影ができるスポットです。転落防止の柵のフェンスが一部うずしお模様で、なかなか洒落ているなと思いました。周囲には数軒の土産物屋や飲食店があります。

鳴門の渦潮を陸から眺められる徳島側のひとつのポイント。鳴門駐車場(軽・普通車は一回500円)を利用する。「鳴門山展望台」より低い位地からの眺望になるが、周囲には飲食店・土産物店・宿などが何軒もあって各種観光や記念写真を楽しめる。淡路側の観潮船、徳島側の観潮船の動きは鳴門大橋下の観潮施設「渦の道」(有料)とは違った視点となる。
