This is a Japanese-style confectionary store built in a serene place, overlooking the Tokushima Castle Ruins. The store is built in the Sukiyazukuri architectural style, an architectural style based on the Japanese tea ceremony house. Confectionaries using carefully selected Shikoku and Tokushima regional ingredients such as Kitagawa Yuzu citrus and Sudachi citrus, Naruto kintoki sweet potato, Awa bayberry, and Itano Wasanbon sugar are popular. The most famous sweet is a rice cake called “Awayu” which is green Azuki bean paste wrapped in soft Habutae mochi. Also round and lovely Nishikidama confectionery filled with fruit called “Yuutama” are popular. In the store, visitors can enjoy tea and sweets while looking at the beautiful garden.

淡柚

羽二重餅でゆず餡を包んだ「淡柚」。真っ白な羽二重餅がまぶしいくらい。ふわふわの触感も素晴らしいし、ゆず餡の方も上品ですねえ。なお、柚は高知の北川村の産だそうです。
抹茶のかき氷がおいしい

落ち着いた雰囲気のお店です。かき氷が食べたくて伺いました。かき氷は抹茶のみで、抹茶を自分で氷にかけていただきます。氷はふわふわでとてもおいしかったです。お店の雰囲気もとてもよく、徳島に行った際はまた立ち寄りたいと思いました。

徳島旅行中に車で伺いました。駐車場が完備されていて、お客さんが途切れることなく、でも混みすぎない具合に流行っていました。お客さん一組につき、店員さん一人がカウンターの外に出てきてくださって注文ききからお渡しまですべて応対するので、ちょっとばかり時間がかかる丁寧な応対でした。外郎（名前失念）と鳴門金時（うも）、いちご大福をいただきました。どれも上品な甘さで、いつ何個食べても飽きないおいしい和菓子...
