Kitahama Alley
This commercial complex in Kitahama Town, Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture opened in 2000 after being renovated from a series of old warehouses built at the beginning of the Showa period. It was built in the image of the back alleys of a port town, giving the building a retro feel. It is filled with trendy boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and unique variety shops. You’ll also find galleries that host art and photo exhibitions, as well as a plaza that hosts concerts and flea markets, making it a popular date spot.
