Located in Yogita Town, Zentsuji City, Kagawa Prefecture, Yamashita Udon is famous for being the birthplace of bukkake-udon (cold udon noodles with chilled dashi sauce poured over them). People can often be found queuing to get into this popular restaurant on the holidays. Their prized udon noodles cooked in a large pot are particularly rich in flavor especially among Kagawa udon noodles with a smooth texture. As well as their signature bukkake-udon, niku udon (udon noodles with beef) and kake udon (fresh udon noodles in a simple dashi broth) are also popular. Popular toppings include their flavorsome kakiage tempura (mixed vegetable and seafood tempura) with tiny shrimps.

今回はお昼ご飯で、肉うどん中、ちくわ天ぷらを食べました。うどんはこしがあって、美味しかったです。中は2玉という事ですが、個人的にはちょうど良い量でした。肉がちょっと甘めでしたね。
カタイうどん

コシがあるっていうんでしょうけど、印象としてはカタイって感じがする。おなじぶっかけでも、温かいのと冷たいのではだいぶ印象が違った。冷たいぶっかけの方が、よりカタさを味わえる感じがします。金比羅さんの途中によりました。

まず、混んでいます。駐車場もそんなに多く有りません。他の人気店も同じような環境だと思うのですが、回転が早く待つのが苦では有りません。10分程度で入店。釜揚げとぶっかけ（ゆぬき）➕かき揚げとおでんスジを注文。ぶっかけは当然ですが、釜揚げもコシがあり美味しい。既に揚げ物を選び終わりうどん待ちの人に出来たての揚げ物を運ぶ際、お待たせしてすみませんね、と出来たてと交換してあげてました。細やかな配慮、待って...
