Zenigata Sunae
Zenigata Sunae is a large sand carving of an old copper coin used in the Edo period. It is located in the Kotohiki Park, a nationally designated place of scenic beauty. The impressive looking sand carving is 122 meters in length from east to west and 90 meters from north to south. For best views it is recommended to look from the top of Mt. Kotohiki. In recent years the place has gained a reputation for bringing good luck in terms of money, and at night the sand carving is lit up making for quite an impressive sight.
