Aoya Washi Studio is a workshop located on Prefectural Route 280 in Yamane, Aoya Town, Tottori City, which specializes in Inshu Washi (one of the oldest traditional Japanese paper “washi,” made specially in old Inaba Country, now in Eastern part of Tottori Prefecture). The Studio hosts regular exhibitions featuring art works created using Inshu Washi, and also offers classes in paper-making, paper lampshade making, etc. There is a museum shop that sells Washi products and paper-making kits, along with a café serving home-made pizza, etc.
