The Ochidani district of Tottori City has several temples that were associated with the lords that ruled the Tottori domain in times gone by. The Tottori City History Museum (Yamabikokan), which is located in a corner of the Ouchidani District, provides an introduction to the history and culture of the Tottori region. Besides the permanent exhibitions, the Museum also holds thematic exhibitions and special exhibitions relating to Tottori. In early summer, the Museum is open in the evenings on certain days so that visitors can view fireflies in the Museum grounds.

公営の博物館なので入館料も安いです。高校生以下や70歳以上などは無料なので子供と一緒だとちょっとお得です。また企画展示も行われていることがあり、その際もセット（企画展と常設展示）でも料金は安いです。興味のある企画展示の時を狙っていくのもいいです。

おうちだに公園の入り口手前にあります。建物の前にも駐車ＯＫです。時々面白い展示やイベントがあり市民に人気のスポットです。併設の喫茶店も美味しくて安いので隠れ家的存在です。
おおち谷公園の入り口にあります

ホタルで有名なおおち谷公園の入口あたりにある博物館です。イベント・特別展を頻繁にやっていますし、お客さんも少なくてじっくり見えますし、お勧めです。またカフェも併設されていて、そんなに大きくはありませんけど、休憩もできます。ランチ利用しましたが、ボリュームもあります！
