Kaneya is a soba restaurant founded in 1929 in Taisha Town, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. The restaurant is famous for donating its soba to the people at the Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine festival. With its good old, simple, private house-like appearance, the store is loved by many well known people with lots of autographs decorating the walls of the restaurant. Kaneya offers authentic Izumo soba, freshly ground, freshly kneaded, and freshly boiled. Their most popular dish is the sanshoku-wariko, with three toppings on a bowl of soba noodles. The noodle’s broth with the sweet flavors of urume iwashi (sardines) and konbu seaweed coming through is particularly well liked.

出雲大社参拝の際、コシの強い出雲蕎麦を頂きました。外で待って入店して、入店してからもお蕎麦が出てくるまで、かなり時間がかかりましたが、まあ美味しかったです。

１２時過ぎ平日の来店ですが、長蛇の列さすが神在月です。列は道が狭いせいもあり密です。３０分ぐらいで入店し、割子三段を注文すると三色割子の写真を見せられこちらはいかがと・・２４０円ＵＰです。ではと、チョット待ち来ました、たまご普通のたまごの小っちゃいのですが、ウズラのたまごがサイズに合うと思っているのは私だけでしょうか。出汁、蕎麦は美味しいのに卵のせいで減点かな。そば湯は濃くって美味しい...
