Kakizaemon is a restaurant run by one of Japan’s finest oyster producers. It is located in Tsuchido, Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The restaurant boasts a range of dishes using the freshest seafood caught in the Seto Inland Sea, such as large, flavorsome Hiroshima oysters, sea bream, octopus, conger eel, rockfish and stonefish. Popular dishes include their hearty servings of deep-fried oysters and oven-baked oysters, as well as their seafood rice bowl lavishly topped with the finest white fish. Walked along the waters to find this place just for its oysters - they have their own farm and factory so the oysters are guaranteed fresh and good! Didn’t disappoint at all. Strongly recommend going...
牡蠣がイマイチ

カキフライはまあ美味しいが、生牡蠣がやや生臭い。オーブン焼きは牡蠣の旨みが消されてるのでイマイチ。日本酒は辛口が多い。メニューはそれほど多いわけではない。
人気と味のバランスを保つのは大変だと思います。

大変人気のお店で、観光バスで団体の方が入って行ったり、地元の方々の集まりで利用されたりしています。大人数入れるのは長所ですが、そういったなかで味のクオリティを保っていくのに大変な努力をされているのだろうと思いました。
