Akita Furusato Village kamakuland is a theme park for any weather consisting of a variety of facilities such as Starry sky expedition Museum SPACIA, the largest planetarium in the Tohoku region where visitors can enjoy exploring the starry sky, the Wonder Castle featuring trick art and a variety of play equipment, as well as the Industrial Arts Exhibition Hall of Akita traditional crafts, and the Akita Museum of Modern Art. The facility includes a studio where visitors can experience making homemade items and learn while playing. At the home cooking hall, you can also enjoy local cuisine and gourmet.

秋田自動車道、横手インターを降りてすぐのところにありゆっくりと遊べる施設がいろいろ、美術館などもあります。この日はふるさとドーム劇場でアート＆クラフト展が開催されていて早い時間から混雑しています。全国各地から色んな作り手お方が来ていて見ているだけでも楽しむことができました。

食べる、お土産を買うには、もってこいな所。秋田の名産特産品が揃ってて、迷う位の品数。横手焼きそばや比内地鶏ラーメン、稲庭うどん等食べたい物ばかり。駐車場も広くハイシーズンは、それでも満車覚悟。行くなら、オフシーズンに、ゆったりと。

大好きな美術館があり良く行きます。秋田のお土産も豊富で出店も多いので同じ商品でも比較が出来て楽しい。またお食事もレストランからフードコートまで予算や内容によって選べてとても気に入ってます。林泉堂のラーメンはときどき食べたくなる品で家族全員が好きです。プレミアム食事券も使えるので良いですイベントも良く行われてますがなくても楽しい場所です
