Kasho Sanzen (Hirose-dori Avenue Omachi Shop)

Pastries
Founded in 1947, Kasho Sanzen is a sweets shop known for its “Hagi no Tsuki” —a famous sweet of Sendai. In addition to Hagi no Tsuki, this shop sells a variety of western and Japanese sweets—nearly 160—including Royal Terrasse, Aozashi, and famous Sendai treats like Date Komaki and Date Emaki. The namagashi named for the 24 divisions of the solar year is also quite delicious. About six minutes on foot from Omachi Nishi-koen Station on the Tozai Subway Line.
