Aji Tasuke
A specialty beef tongue shop located in 4 Chome Ichibancho, Aoba Ward, Sendai City. Opened as a gyutan (beef tongue) grill in Sendai City in 1948, it is considered the father of all gyutan restaurants. They offer a set meal of gyutan-yaki plus barley with wheat rice, along with oxtail and tongue soup—all made using the trade secrets developed by the founder.
