An old bread shop established in 1948 in Nagata Town, Morioka City. The founder originally only developed coffee bread with the mindset of “filling the bellies of students at a low price.” The coffee bread comes in a wide variety of styles, from sweets like “red bean jam & butter”, to sides like ham and egg sandwiches, and the “Original Veggie Sandwich” —a vegetable sandwich with toppings like ground meat cutlets available. With such abundant variation, this shop has become synonymous with Morioka soul food.

朝ごはんに家族で訪問。8時過ぎで3組ほどの待ち。地元の皆様にも人気なのだろう。ヒトの出入りが激しかった。朝ごはんには甘いものが食べたかったのでキャラメルをトライ。パンがけっこう大きいので食べ終えるのに厳しいぐらいの甘さだったが、coffeeとは相性は抜群。エビカツも一口トライしたが、これも美味！朝ごはんかランチに再訪したい！
福田パン本店で、あん・バターをゲット！！

今日泊まるホテルの近くに、福田パン本店があるということでやってきました。一番人気というあん・バターを購入して、翌日の新幹線のなかで美味しくいただきました。

岩手県盛岡のソウルフード。福田パン。初の本店に行きました。しっとりふわふわのコッペパン。あんバターに照り焼きチキンを食べました。ちなみに初代社長はあの宮沢賢治の教え子だったそう❗️日曜日の11時くらいの訪問でけっこう行列できてました！
