Etchu Ichinomiya Takase-jinja Shrine

The Etchu Ichinomiya Takase-jinja Shrine has a long history, even recorded in documents from the year 680. The god worshipped there, Okuninushi-no-Mikoto (Ohonamuchi), is a god of prosperity and relationships, and is adored by many. There is a lot to see, including treasure displays, the water purification fountain, tea brushes, and the Koreiden Mausoleum designated as a Cultural Property. Approximately 15 minutes by car via Tonami Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway.

越中国一宮。一宮も大中小いろいろだが、高瀬神社はけっこうな規模がある。越中国は一宮を称する神社が他にもあり、高岡城址公園内にある射水神社、気多神社、大山の山頂が奥宮の雄山神社の三社。雄山神社は前立社壇、中宮とあるので地点で言うと五つになるか。一宮巡りをするならすべて詣でることになる。

富山県を訪問した際に、一之宮巡りで参拝しました。大国主命が主祭神です。広い駐車場があります。立派な鳥居の両脇には大きな石灯籠と社名標があります。参道を進むと伊勢神宮から御下付された手水舎があり、その先に拝殿があります。大国主命が主祭神ということで因幡の白兎にちなんだかわいいなでウサギの像があります。

富山ローカルのテレビ番組でよくＣＭを見かける越中一宮。由緒正しき境内は緑も豊かで、絵馬にも縁結びを願うものが多く見受けられました。立派な結婚式場も備えられていました。
