Mitsukejima Island

Island
Beloved as a symbol of the Noto, Mitsukejima Island is said to be so-named because it was the first island Kobo Daishi saw when he left Noto for Sado. It is also called “Battleship Island” for the shape of its tip. Mitsukejima Island with decorative lighting is a sight to behold.
