Noka Falls
The Noka Falls are the largest-scale falls in Wakasa region, featuring a 30 meter drop and inciting many mysterious legends. It is a place of wondrous views, whether the awe-inspiring scene when snow starts to melt or the view of cool waters of summer with their crystalline clarity. And it’s well known as the cradle of Shakunage (a type of shrub). It takes about 10 minutes to reach the falls on foot, but the path can be slippery during rains, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
