Run by a long-running fish wholesaler and purveyor to the Imperial Household Agency, this restaurant lets you taste the fresh bounty of the ocean taken from the nearby Mikuni Port. It is a famous shop featured in magazines and various media. The most popular item is “kaisen don” —a bountiful dish with sea urchin, salmon roe, and Mikuni seafood like squid and sweet shrimp piled high on rice. During crab season from November to March, you can enjoy a dish using luxurious Echizen crab that was even served to the Imperial Household. The building is a Japanese-style with Kara-mon gate (Chinese gate). Inside the shop there is a counter seat which is easy to enter alone. The nearest station is Mikuni-Minato Station.

お盆休み中の12時前に訪れたましたが、既に行列が出来ており約30分待ちでした (コロナの影響でテーブル一つおきに着席)。大半の方が注文するからか、海鮮丼はオーダーしてから割と早く提供いただけました。海鮮がてんこ盛りで、特に甘海老が甘くて美味しかったです。付属の味噌汁も海老の出汁が非常に濃厚で美味しかったです。待つ価値はあったと思います。

坂井市にある「田島」に訪問しました。三連休の最終日の14時前に訪問しましたが、数グループが待っている状態でした。食事は、ボリュームのある海鮮丼です。少し値段はしますが、この値段で、おのボリューム、味であれば、文句のつけようがありません。

入店しても声をかけられることはなく、自分で見つけた名前を書く紙に書いて順番を待ちます。席が空いても通されることもなく、ただただ待たされました。奥から違う店員の方が出てきてようやく席に案内。大して混雑してはいませんでしたが、ここまで15分以上です。忙しいと気が回らなくなるのか。姿が明らかに視界に入っていても無視し続けられる店員の姿勢にはびっくりです。海鮮丼を頂きましたが、漁港のそばなら当たり前の新...
