This is a sushi restaurant founded in 1953, located in Nishi Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture. The owner, who trained firstly in a rice shop on his path to become a sushi chef, is of course more concerned with the rice base than most others. The rice base made from Niigata Prefecture grown Koshihikari rice and white granular sugar mixed with vinegar, brings out the taste of Niigata fresh local fish and creates an exquisite harmony of taste. The “kiwami lunch” of hand-formed, locally fished sea urchins is popular.

お昼に伺いました。にぎりはもちろん定食もありましたが、お店の名が付いたこがねちらしを頂きました。ランチメニューは夜にくらべ、かなりお得にいただけます。おすすめです！結構こんでましたので予約をおすすめします。

ランチに強いこがね鮨でおなじみのお店で、ランチタイムはいつも賑わっています。紫竹山I.Cから車で1分と交通の弁も良いです。

美味しいです。ただ、新潟はレベル高いので、普通になってしまいます。よそから来た人にはもってこいではないでしょうか。
