Niigata has produced several manga and anime artists, and this facility aims to hand down Niigata’s manga and anime culture to future generations. Located in Chuo Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, this facility’s permanent exhibit introduces the works of Niigata gag manga artists Fujio Akatsuka, Maya Mineo, Motoei Shinzawa, and Endo Koichi. There are life-size figures of the characters as well as photo booths. The “manga room” contains about 10,000 precious out-of-print works that you can read at your leisure.

マンガの図書館

古町通六番町と東堀通の間にあります。入館は無料です。中には、新潟ゆかりの漫画家作品だけではなく、多くの漫画が書架にあり、まるで図書館のように自由に読むことが出来ます（借りて行くことは出来ないようですが）。きっと、一日中居ても飽きないと思います。嬉しかったのは、何十年かぶりに、3年奇面組とすすめパイレーツを読めた事でした。
一日中居たかったです。

新潟市、古町にある新潟市マンガの家です。新潟駅から少し距離があるので、バスか貸し自転車を利用すると良いでしょう。新潟出身、ゆかりの有名な漫画家の素晴らしい展示・作品があります。何と無料で、漫画も読み放題です。時間があれば１日中居たかったです。

アニメや漫画がすきなら楽しい場所でしょうが一般の観光客には今一つぴんと来ない。こんせぷとが不明でさらに入場にはおかねがかかる。グッズはたくさん売っています
