Kadocho Soy Sauce Museum Shokuningura

This museum is located next to the venerable Kadocho Soy Sauce factory established in 1841 in Yuasa which is said to be the origin of soy-sauce. Originally built in 1866 this building now is a museum with classic tools and manufacturing techniques on display including prep tubs and wheat pressing mechanisms. You will also find the soy-sauce museum with dioramas and panels explaining how soy sauce is made. While there is no entry fee reservations are required.
