Kamijiya
This traditional crafts and household goods shop is in the Okage Yokocho area near Inner Ise Shrine in Ise, Mie. During the Edo period people came from all over to Ise, bringing their crafts and tools with them, and would return home laden with Ise wares. You’ll find Ise cultural tools fostered by Ise craftsman including chopsticks, hand towels, Japanese style paper, stationery, brushes, inksticks, and more. Lucky charms such as the seven-color daruma and the Ise cypress temple stamp book are also popular.
