Yokocho Soba Shoseiko
This long-standing ramen and Chinese food restaurant opened in 1974 and is found in the Okage Yokocho area next to Inner Ise Shrine in Ise, Mie. The broth is made from slow boiling Matsusaka beef bones and Mie pork, chicken, fish, and vegetables over a period of many days. It is both simple and yet profound with a deep richness and umami flavor. They are also well known for their home-made thin sliced ham-style pork. The store lacks a door giving it an open feeling and parties of one are more than welcome.

- 1月限定の目出鯛横町そば
- 1月下旬の週末、伊勢神宮参拝の帰りに食べに行きました。おかげ横丁から細い路地を入っていくとあります。1月限定の目出鯛横町そばを注文。壁がなく、結構寒い。温かいラーメンが待ち遠しい。牛骨スープというので、コッテリしているのかと思っていましたが透明のスープで意外とあっさりしている。鯛の風味もしっかりとしている。チャーシューはハムのように薄く食べやすい。麺は細目の縮れ麺。あっさりと完食しました。

- 伊勢うどんに飽きたのでラーメンを・・・
- おかげ横丁の狭い路地裏にあり、サイトで「ラーメン屋」があるとの事で訪れました。まず、最近は「鶏がらや豚骨」出汁が多いですが、ここは「松阪牛骨」ということで期待値を高めすぎたのか・・・・出汁はぬるい・生ハムのようなチャーシューは独特な味で、少し塩っぽい・値段が高いと、いうことで評価はマイナスです。
