Nagoya City Museum
A historical museum which first opened in 1977. The museums standing exhibit on the history of Owari Province presents the history of Nagoya from the Paleolithic to the modern era. The museum also holds special exhibitions featuring amazing cultural assets from Japan and around the world. In addition to its exhibits, the museum also holds lectures, workshops, and other events. The museum’s frequent hands-on historical seminars teach children even as they have fun. Night Museum events have also become a tradition and are packed with touches which help visitors enjoy an evening at the museum even more.

- ロダンの「考える人」
- 桜山駅から徒歩5分ほど。1977年にオープンした博物館。訪館した時は特別展「模様を着る」が開かれており、松坂屋が収集した様々な模様の布地が展示されていた。常設展では尾張の歴史・文化に関する展示が行われており、土器から戦中・戦後まで様々な品が展示されている。なお、1Fミュージアムショップの隣にロダンの「考える人」が展示されているので見るのをお忘れなく。
