Hakkodo

Souvenirs
Hakkodo is a specialist Kamakura-bori lacquerware store established in 1900 near the Torii Gate of Tsurugaoka-Hachimangu Shrine. The Kamakurabori lacquerware at Hakkodo is made with passed down classic techniques and designs with subtle hints of the Heisei Period. An assortment of durable, strong, easy to use, beautiful pieces which improve with age, are on display. Lacquered wood carvings pushing the limits of possibility are also available.
