The Silk Museum
This museum is located in Naka Ward Yokohama City. One can view silk cloth and clothes while learning about production centers of silk, and Yokohama's relationship with silk. Year round exhibits are on display within the museum. There are special seasonal exhibits, demonstrations of soft moss-silk making, and braided cord making. Because there are so few institutions that specialize in silk alone, the museum attracts many foreigners among their visitors.
