Kanuma Park

Located in Kanumadai in Sagamihara City, this park is famous for its various vehicles of transportation. It offers go-cars, mini cars and bicycles for rent for free. Equipped with traffic light signals, and crosswalks, it is a good place for children to learn traffic safety. The pond in the middle of the park is a favorite resting spot for the local residents. There they can watch the white swans, turtles, and carp.

桜の木々の中で心が和みました

４月２日金曜日の朝８時半頃、近くの病院へ行く途中に公園内を通りました。桜は少しずつ散り始めたところですが、まだ十分に見応えがありました。公園内を足早に駅へ向かう方、ゆっくり散歩する方はいらっしゃいましたが、とても静かで心が和みました。
デイダラボッチ伝説

散策にて訪問。淵野辺駅近くにある公園です。この辺りは沼地が多い所でしたが、ここだけ残って公園となりました。巨人デイダラボッチの足跡が沼になったとの伝承も残ります。子供たちが三輪車で交通ルールを学べる施設があります。蒸気機関車が展示されています。

子供が小さい頃何回か訪れた公園、自転車や三輪車で教習所のようなコースを走り、遊びながら交通ルールを覚えることができます。最近は野球の審判で来ることが増えましたが、淵野辺駅や国道16号線から至近距離にあるためか、無料の駐車場が大変混雑します。荷物が多いと大変ですが、公共交通機関を利用して訪れるのも悪くないと思います。
