NYK Maritime Museum

NYK Maritime Museum introduces the modern Japanese shipping industry from its dawn to the present day through the corporate history of the Nihon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK). It exhibits easy-to-understand movies, valuable pictures capturing historical turning points and pamphlets of gorgeous cruise ships. Hikawamaru, an NYK ship, was designated as an Important Cultural Property in 2016. It is two minutes’ walk from Bashamichi Station on the Tokyu Minatomirai Line.
