Shatenki Nigouten is a specialty Chinese porridge restaurant founded in 1951, and famous for a Chinese porridge in which raw rice as well as dried oysters, dried scallops and a whole chicken are stewed for four hours. It is five minutes’ walk from Exit 2 at Motomachi-Chukagai Station on the Tokyu Minatomirai Line.

So authentic and yummy but reasonable. You need to go early in the morning, otherwise you end up waiting outside for a rather long time.

Worth the wait. Good flavors, plenty to eat. The servings are rather large and served family style. Many good flavors in their foods. As a FYI to the pescatarians, even if it is a shrimp dumpling it...
