Hamagin Space Science Center
Located in a park in front of Yokodai Station, the entire building of this hands-on children’s museum is modeled after a spaceship. Inside, the museum is filled with space-themed exhibits, many of which are hands-on or designed like amusement park rides. Fun for everyone from children to adults, the museum also holds a regular Science Show as well as Science Mini-Talks which uses videos and other tools to provide education about space. The museum has its own planetarium where you can enjoy stunning visuals and realistic starscapes. Once to twice a month, the museum holds night watching events where participants can look up at the sky through a powerful telescope.
