The shop sells many sweets associated with the opening of the port of Shimoda due to the arrival of the Black Ships such as “Kurofuneyaki Pawhatan”, a Castella with orange and raspberry Jam wrapped in langue de chat, “Kurofune Raiko Monaka” and “Kurofune Manju (Black)”. An assortment of baked sweets called “Kurofune Raiko Set” is a popular souvenir.

評判が良さそうだったので伺いましたが・・・私的には相性が悪かったようです。常連さんメインの店の雰囲気、確かにいつ来るかわからない観光客相手には冷めた態度も分からなくはないですが、次は無いかな-と思いました。数点かいましたが、そのような事もあり味は余り美味しく感じられませんでした。置いてあるものが和菓子などなので敢えて冷房が効いていなかったのか店内は蒸し暑くその中でおこわなどが並んでいましたが、購...

下田散策のおやつにと、黒船来航最中を購入しました。黒船の型をした最中で薄皮の最中に餡がたっぷり、でもあっさりしていて食べやすかったです。お店の外観も素敵です。
