This is a rest spot in the grounds of “Hakone-jinja Shrine” in Hakone Town, Ashigarashimo County, Kanagawa Prefecture, offering sweets, light meals and drinks. The famous Gongen Karamemochi is fresh mochi (sticky rice cake) with anko (red bean paste), kinako (roast soy bean flour), sesame, seaweed and grated daikon radishes. They also serve hand-dripped Hakone coffee with divine water. The Ore-no-Udon Aka (“my udon, red”), a popular specialty with tourists even featured on television, is a tasty mix of springy noodles and spicy soup. This is an easy place to visit for lunch or a break while visiting the shrine.

お餅は１日経っても柔らかかった。

高速道路サービスエリアの様、駐車場の中にあり。お餅は美味しく、大きな幸せのお福分け（幸せのかしわ餅）を買ったが、次の日に食べても、柔らかかった。一度は、食べるべき！。神社にジンジャーをかけた、”神社声援”ジンジャー炭酸水は美味しかった。

年に一度の箱根神社へのお参り。その際、このお餅を食べるためにお店に行きます。中国人の観光客があまりいなかったからか、お店は空いていました。夫は数種類のお餅、私は大根おろしのみの物を頂きました。柔らかくて美味しいお餅でした！

箱根神社の敷地内にあります。権現からめもちはおもちが柔らかくておいしかったです。きなこ、あんこ、のり、ごま味です。おもちは手作りだそうです。
