Lucky’s Cafe
This is a Western confectionery shop in Hakone Town, Ashigarashimo County, Kanagawa Prefecture with adjoining cafe space. Inside the white-themed interior are a variety of popular pastries including standard shortcakes, mille-feuille and tarts of seasonal fruits. The Onsen Tamago Pudding (“Hot Spring Egg Pudding”) in a jar and baked sweet sets are also popular. The cafe space has terrace seating too, and there one can enjoy the storefront sweets, drinks, parfait, ice cream, and the chef’s prized lunch menu. Situated along National Route 138, it’s easy to drop in by car for a meal or teatime.
