This hot spring day-trip hotel was opened by Kannon Onsen Inn, nestled in the mountains of Shimoda City in Shizuoka Prefecture in 2010. The Kannon Onsen hot spring source was discovered by the founder due to a divine message from a Boshisattva and it is well-known as a good quality spring in Izu. The running hot spring water is highly alkaline with a pH of 9.5. Relax, enjoy and feel the breath of Mother Nature in the large, all-Japanese-cypress indoor bath and the open outdoor rotemburo bath that looks out onto the Amagi Mountain Range.

噂通りの強アルカリ泉で、入浴すると同時に肌にヌルヌル感。いいお湯です。入浴するには、売店にある発券機で入浴券を買います。券面には時間が印字されており、１時間のようです。売店にはペットボトルで温泉も販売しているので、ちょっとしたお土産にもなります。最大の難点は、道が狭いこと。対向車が来ないことを祈りながら、安全運転に心掛けましょう。

こんなにぬめりのある泉質の温泉は初めての経験。湯船に入るとホント気持ちいです。湯上りは、顔も足も、身体中がツヤツヤになりました。露天風呂の底が、恐ろしいほどにツルツル滑るので気をつけてください。
