A nature park situated in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture and location of the Senbon Matsubara (“One Thousand Pine Tree Grove”), a grove of beautiful black pines standing along the coast of Suruga Bay considered to be one of the most scenic areas along the Tokaido. On clear days, visitors can enjoy a picturesque view from the beach of the pine grove, Mt. Fuji, and Suruga Bay. In summer, the beach is open for swimming and bustles with beach goers. The cycling and jogging course along the breakwater is particularly popular. The pine grove has a promenade which allows visitors to easily stroll amongst the sunlight filtering through the black pines’ branches. In addition, the park is dotted with monuments inscribed with poems and famous literary passages. There is also a playground with play equipment for children, and the park is a favorite spot for locals to relax.

沼津港に向かう途中にたまたま寄ってみました。大正解‼️なにこの感動的な風景‼️穏やかな波、水平線、たくさんの松、しかも富士山‼️子ども連れのファミリーや散歩を楽しむ人たち。どこまでも静かな広い公園。一日中ここで過ごしたい〜〜笑どうかこの穏やかな自然が続きますようにと感謝の気持ちになりました。おすすめいたします。
千本松原があり、広い駐車場があり、千本浜海岸までゆっくりとお散歩ができる。

千本松原があり、広い駐車場があり、千本浜海岸までゆっくりとお散歩ができる。春になると浜の観音さんのお祭りがあり、曼荼羅がご開帳がる。縁日もあり、オタマジャクシが水たまりに沢山集まって来る。

海を眺め心地よい風を感じながらお散歩に最適です。沼津駅からすこし離れていますが、バスで行けます。沼津港で新鮮な海鮮のお食事もおすすめです。
