Shirakoma Pond
The mystical Shirakoma Pond is located in a primeval forest at the base of Mt. Yatsugatake. As a natural lake at an altitude of 2,100 meters, it is the biggest lake in Japan in terms of area. The crystal-clear surface reflects the beauty of the four seasons. There’s a walkway around it as well, so feel free to take a nice, relaxing stroll.
