This cafe offers ten or so varieties of cakes, including authentic teas from around the world and Mont Blanc cake made with walnuts from Obuse. There are always about 20 types of tea available, and their delicious flavor has even earned the shop the recognition of the Japan Tea Association. The exterior looks like a European-style house, and the interior contains antique Western furniture, allowing you to spend a pleasant, relaxing time. It’s about a seven-minute walk from Obuse Station on the Nagano Line.

Just devoured the takeaway mont blancs we got en route back from the monkey park. Absolutely amazing - somehow even better than the delightful ones we had in Switzerland. Definitely worth a visit!
