Kurohime Kogen GREEN GARDEN
Kurohime Highlands Cosmos Garden began 40 years ago with the planting of cosmos plants in the alluvial fan in the skirts of Mt. Kurohime, and it is now adored as a place where you can behold “a million cosmos plants at a glance.” There’s also a dahlia garden and other seasonal blossoms, creating gorgeous scenery year-round. You can try your hand at pressed flower craft and flower basket weaving, and there’s also Strider Enjoy Park and other facilities. Events are regularly held as well, so you’ll definitely want to drop by. It’s about six minutes from Shinano Interchange on the Joshin-Etsu Expressway.
