Nihon Chureiden (Zenkoji Temple History Museum)

Reference/Local/Exhibition/Literature Museum
This mausoleum is located in the precinct of Zenkoji Temple. It was completed in 1970 as Japan's only Buddhist-style mausoleum, where 2.4 million spirits from the Boshin War to the Pacific War are venerated. In the historical materials museum located on the first floor, you'll find the mandala necessary for the eye-opening ceremony when the Dahli Lama the 14th visited Zenkoji Temple and the original Nio statue of Nio-mon.
