This art museum is located along Prefectural Route 308 in Hotakaariake, Azumino City. It opened in 1993 as the first museum in the world to focus on the works of Armenian painter Jean Jansem, who did his work in France. The exhibitions feature Jansem’s oil paintings, watercolors, sketches, and woodblock prints, though sometimes works by other domestic and international artists are exhibited as well. The adjoining cafe offers a place to relax, and you can also enjoy a stroll through the verdant garden.

駐車場に隣接したコンクリートの全く雰囲気の無い建物が美術館だと思いましたが、建物の入り口にここは美術館ではありません。道路の向かい側が美術館です。」みたいな注意書きが書いてありました。きっと間違える人が多くいたんだと思います。道を渡ったら全く雰囲気が違って多くの樹が生い茂って森のような中の小径を少し歩いて行くと建物が見えてきました。展示室は3室あって部屋全体は暗く展示物にだけ照明が当たって...

フランスのジャンセンの美術館平日行ったのでひっそりとしてました森の中の美術館美術館です展示室が暗く絵画だけは明るく浮き出る演出は良かったです椅子も置いてあるので鑑賞しやすいです私が訪れた時は最初の展示室はライトが決してあって何も見えず戸惑ってると職員がすみませんってライトつけてくれましたが経費節約？？入場料も高くて碌山美術館やちひろ美術館の方がいいかも・・・ライトつけに来た印象ばか...
