Since its founding, this home-grower of soba in Asama foothills has been dedicated to local production-local consumption, as well as safety. It has been featured in a variety of media due to its efforts and delicious results. The soba is a 70% soba blend handed down since Hidehisa Sengoku, the first Lord of Shinshu Komoro clan. This percentage is said to be the best for health. The most highly rated dish would be the “walnut soba” eaten with a sauce meticulously ground from carefully-selected walnuts.

美味しかったけど食べ終わったあと器から100円玉がでてきてびっくり！更に店員さんはお客さんが入れたんじゃないよね？の発言に追い討ちをかけるような酷いひと言！100円玉が入っていた蕎麦だけお代はいいです、と言われましたがお金払ってももう行きません、草笛さんのお蕎麦を食べたく遠方より来ているお客さんだっているということ、もう少し大事にしてほしい。

信州蕎麦は、各地域に美味しい店が多い。小諸では、やはり、なんといっても、草笛さんだ❗香り高いそばと出汁のマッチング。色々な種類にチャレンジしているのもいいね！

信州、特に東信の超有名蕎麦屋。大きな店なので、結構並んでいてもすぐに入れる。蕎麦は回転が速いしね。さて、味は平均以上の誰でも美味しいと思える伝統の良さが感じられる。懐古園に行くなら必ず寄るべき店だ。
