This winery located in the Kano district of Nagano Prefecture, Tomi City was opened in 2004 by the celebrated essayist and painter Toyoo Tamamura. It also includes a café, shop, and gallery on the premises. More than 15,000 grape plants are being cultivated in the vineyards, and the wine brewed at the winery has earned itself high praise, having won at domestic wine competitions for example. The café with its open kitchen offers cuisines with a French base made using fresh-picked vegetables and Shinshu-produced ingredients. From the terrace seats one can enjoy an outstanding tea time while looking out at the beautiful sunset.

レストランの脇にある庭からながめる景色はすばらしく、その横に連なるぶどう畑を見ながらレストランで食事をするとヨーロッパの雰囲気が味わえる。玉村豊男氏がデザインしたテーブルセットでいただくランチも楽しい。難を言えば、肝心のワインが値段の割に深みに乏しい。
