Exiting the underground Nanba Station from exit 26-B, you will see a building resembling an octagonal UFO across the Hanshin Expressway. The Minato-machi River Place is a facility complex built around the Live House, Namba Hatch. Various live events including rock and hip-hop are held in this building. There are also three plazas set up outside for use as outdoor event zones. Mini live events, exhibitions and other events, such as flea markets are also held here. The Dotonbori river flows past the complex, and with its beautiful nighttime views, is a popular date spot.

お寺のお堂のような建物

JR難波駅と道頓堀川の間にある、お寺のお堂のような人目を引く建造物。観光客の動線からは少し外れているが、すぐ北側に遊覧船の乗り場もあり、川の見える階段に座り込んで一休みする人も多い。中にはライブホールが入っているらしい。
雰囲気は悪くない

なんばの繁華街からは西に少し離れた感じの場所にあります。ライブホールであるなんばHatchが独特の形状でよく目立っています。実際の利用としてはカフェやレストランがあり、道頓堀川沿いがオープンテラスのようになっているので雰囲気は悪くと思います。
広い空間です

湊町リバープレイスは、なんばHatchを中核とした近辺エリアを言うようです。ここには小さなコンサートも開けそうな広いスペースも有ります。暖かい日には、飲み物持参で読書に読みふけってみたい場所ですね。大阪難波駅にも近い場所です。
