Utsubo Park
This park is located just past Tosabori Road, south of Umeda, Osaka. The park is split into two parts, east and west, across Naniwa-suji Street, with rows of Zolkova trees and a rose garden on the east side, and Utsubo Tennis Center on the west side, which hosts international tennis competitions. The rose garden is the oldest in Osaka City, and 3,400 roses are planted there, with 170 different varieties. The garden is used, not only for people to visit, but also doubles as a wedding venue. Every year, in mid-May, when the roses are in bloom, the Rose Festa is held here, drawing a great many visitors.
