“Whity Umeda” is a well-established kushikatsu (skewers of fried food) restaurant located in the underground shopping area directly linked to the Umeda Subway Station. It is a popular store where you can enjoy hot fried kushikatsu casually, and every day many people visit seeking the traditional taste that remains unchanged since founding. In addition to the classic beef and pork, onion, and seafood skewers, monthly original skewers also appear on the menu. The fritter-like crispy texture is delicious. In the restaurant there is a counter to stand and drink as well as table seats making it an easy place to drop in for a drink alone or with friends for a party. Please, no double dipping in the sauce.

創業70年老舗串揚げ店

ホワイティウメダ地下街にある串揚げ店。昼時をずらし入店。ソース2度付け可能、専用ソースとキャベツが置かれ、注文書に記入。まずは瓶ビール。野菜の塩こうじ和えを摘まみにスタート。牛、豚、レンコン、キス。衣多めでふわふわ食感が特徴。砂ずり、えび、タケノコを追加、素揚げの砂ズリが美味でした。一時間程串揚げタイムを楽しみました。

阪急のオープン前に時間があったので立ち寄りました。昼から飲めて好きな量を適度に楽しめます。串は2本からメモに書いて注文です。立ち飲みカウンターと着席があります。

オーダーしてから揚げるのでそんなにすぐには出てきません。揚げるところを眺めながら待てるカウンターがオススメです。ビールもいいですが、ここではチューハイがオススメです。宝酒造の缶チューハイのモデルになってるらしいです。串カツの種類はそんなに多くないですが、月のお勧めが大変お得になってる（今月はハムカツが30円！でした）ようです。
