Daimaru Kobe Department Store

This department store is about three minutes on foot from JR Motomachi Station and Hanshin Motomachi Station. It was built on a former settlement so has been left with a retro look, and is laid out with surrounding corridors and gas lights reminiscent of the street corners of Europe. About 70 boutiques have also developed in the Former Foreign Settlement around the main department store building and you can do your shopping while enjoying the cityscape.
